It’s in those people’s interest to make sure the public conversation never returns to their irresponsibility.

I wish this was so noble, but GW is floundering in the face of 3D printing. This is a hidden knife, it's taking advantage of nostalgia to score brownie points. This isn't about giving you something for free, it's about keeping your eyes on GW products and away from the cheap, available prints.

Doing some stuff on my scratch built boats for 28mm wargaming. Junk and scrap welded ugly together for the post-apoc/miserable future vibe. Proud of the raft, painted entirely with cheap dollar store acrylic pens. Likely will be floating in the sump of my Necromunda games, or Billmakingstuff's Tapu
Looks like the Sony PR team has begun its consent manufacturing operation among the media in the past 24 hours. I wonder how many other gaming outlets and influencers this week will also happen to put up posts/articles/videos declaring that eliminating physical media from consoles is good, actually?
Saying we should all go back to physical media I think misses the point. I actually *like* buying games and movies digitally for a bunch of reasons. What we need is better consumer protections so the things we do buy digitally are actually owned and companies cant delete/revoke access!

The furthest point from the coast in the UK is 70 miles. The Majority of the country is riddled with streams and rivers. We're a wet island, even if a large island, still an island. We're Florida but all the houses are double skinned brick with heavily insulated roofs. AC is not the magic solution.

The defining feature of UK weather: dampness. For millennia, the average temperature of this damp hellhole has been like, 15C. It's still damp as fuck, *even at 40C*
There are amazing artists who paint with their feet, with just their paintbrush held in their lips, there are folk with full body paralysis who paint with eye movement. You are born with the ability to create, so long as you have a way to communicate, you are an artist.

What a disservice to human history. How little regard you must have for the billions of souls that struggled through unimaginable suffering to express themselves.
You could change it to "consumers" too, equally effective. You pesky walking wallets and your concerns about global shortages of computer parts and fresh water and IP protection and water table pollution and noise complaints! Just consume so line goes up!

Especially things supposedly built by humanoids. You look at the little windows lit up and the clusters of greeble and know roughly how insignificant you are. Each of those windows is 15ft long and you know it, so you know that you could build a town on some of those armour plates.

And then vast relatively flat areas. The greebles give scale and the flat areas bulks up the visual space easily and also contrasts with the greeble. This was known in 1977.
