I don't know that I've ever called a product launch 'inspiring' before, but this one hits the mark for me - the team behind this came together so fast, with so much passion and focus on building a great product and community. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'd love to see the infrastructure industry move towards a future where the concept of a runtime, its interface, its associated isolation level, and the packaging, are all disaggregated Containers != ephemeral. VMs != stateful. Containers != CRI.

Evidence has demonstrated this effect in numerous cities now. I understand why it sounds weird to say, 'building a bunch of fancy new townhouses and skyscrapers will make housing more affordable!' but it simply appears to be true.

One thing I've noticed is that BlueSky isn't very good at presenting long news threads on your homepage. New posts should send the entire thread to the top of the page, and show and abbreviated thread with first and last posts visible. @bsky.app

and the other is you can actually have multiple urls resolve to a single account. so like tagging @parkerhiggins.net links to me even though it's not my profile's handle! so you're not even really locked into your employer's verification right now
