Worrying to hear that the current Ebola outbreak may be more extensive that first thought. There is a huge void in resource for Aid with the withdrawal of USAID and other countries like Uk reducing aid budgets and this is a harsh reminder of some of the consequences of that.

Setting aside the reasons why this happened, and acknowledging individual desires to avoid toxicity (my desire too), I would agree with this observation. Not sure of the solution, but I do believe that it’s hard to resolve polarization this way.

This is true. There’s an argument for N95 or better as a practical default in these scenarios.
