to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.

If you liked a thing, leave a positive review if the platform offers the choice. These days there are so many people who thrive on leaving negative comments it helps if the rest of us really boost the things we loved. I'm going to make this the year I make other game Devs feel good about their work!
