had to drop $150~ over the past week on gauze, wound care, antibiotics, and other medical materials for a new and stressful health condition that's going to require specialist treatment to fully treat. it may cost me $6,000; a crowdfunding issue for later. for now, any bit helps, thanks

loving this arc and specifically this episode when @jessfrom.online mentions their Mothership GM asks of "stay together, stay risky" having been part of one of their Mothership games I let out a hearty "FUCK YEAH" while listening

For just $10 you can get over 100 games (including one of mine that was previously unreleased) and, most importantly, benefit game workers impacted by layoffs. Support the Game Industry Hardship Fund‼️

In response to the unprecedented number of game developers laid off this year, we have created a bundle on itch to benefit a Game Industry Hardship Fund, managed by @videogameworkers.bsky.social. More than 100 games for 10+ bucks! Please share widely and donate generously! itch.io/b/3802/game-...

one of the most absurd things about the AI boom is that statements like "we are close to creating a genie that can grant any wish" are the most transparent kind of scam artist claims. it's like something and early 1900s snake oil salesman would preach on a street corner. it's SO obvious.

Dare Obasanjo@carnage4life.bsky.social · last wk.

“What we need to explain to the world: Number one, we are close to creating a genie that can grant any wish. Number two, we are going to make sure that our first wishes broadly benefit humanity” - Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI — This is definitely the opposite of Anthropic’s AI kills all jobs pitch.

i really REALLY enjoyed how far into left field we wandered with this one. what if a TTRPG had a constantly expanding set of players & GMs who essentially had to have council meetings to reconcile the stories of various alternate timelines & also resolution mechanics involved texting your cousin.

Our series turning Happy Death Day into a TTRPG continues with @corpserevivers.bsky.social talking about the weight of consequences, time loop subgenre tropes, & the specific roles that a GM brings to a game 🔪

Tachyon Squadron from @evilhat.bsky.social is on a super sale. It's a dynamite Fate adaptation and great game. I've run a Star Wars version several times and I'm doing a Crimson Skies hack for our upcoming Shared Hearth online con. It's great. Buy it. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/2... #ttrpg
