Last night—don't ask me why—we watched TENET. Then I read this fantastic essay by @jdconnor.bsky.social. It's about the movie and logistics and streaming and COVID and Christopher Nolan's "ego-ideal." It's also about how studying contemporary culture entails trying to predict the future.
