I still have an email address I've used since I was a teenager, and these days I am inundated with spam emails and advertisements meant for geriatric retirees. Apparently, once your email account reaches 13 years old or more, you get flagged as old and senile. Calm down, y'all.

I think I'm part of someone's OCD ritual or something. They have to spit out yellow colored chewed gum into the same urinal for me to find and clean up every single morning. As of yesterday I started taking a pic of it. If I work here much longer I'm going to have a very aggravating video slideshow.

Well, that's true, but at the same time, I think it's been a disaster trying to vote in primaries not for who we actually like, but who we think will win against an increasingly deranged opposition, fearfully triangulating away any principles, or solutions the mainstream news decided is too radical.

regardless of which candidate you support I really hate this bit where pundits pretend being electable in a primary makes you electable in the general election just ask senators Hershel Walker, Blake Masters, Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, and Sharron Angle how that worked out for them

is abdul looking electable now?

I still think that the techbro class, journalists, and politicians have been together creating a culture of gaslighting where basic decency and peace is suspicious, we have our moral principles disrespected and negotiated, and I find it to be an abusive toxic mindset that's extremely dark.

Bluesky is a "liberal bubble" because fascist chuds can't get traction without algorithmic assistance and because people here trained themselves to block "debate me" trybois the instant they roll up

Ugh. I get so sick of hearing TSwift's Ophleia at work. The song is written in such a way that every time it seems to be building up some energy, it interrupts it with a long pause, or has measures that just drone on as filler. This is why I used to listen to remixes of her songs.

None of us is more important than a Palestinian child being bombed by Israel, or a Sudanese woman being assaulted by the RSF, or a Congolese child being enslaved so you can use a smartphone and AI, or an immigrant being tortured in ICE detention, or a detainee in Riker's who can't afford bail.

My mom has an agreement with the owner of the yard by the house that we can park our cars there as long as they're not junk and don't make his property look bad. She said not to put any bumper stickers on my new beater. I've looked forward to that for years. Come the fuck on, man. I mean. Fuck.

I think a significant amount of my Bsky posting has been a process of trial and error and publicly being an ignoramus. I was actively iterating as someone eager to see the world in a new way. Which bristles against my inability to forgive myself. The outcome could be worse, and that's something.
