I keep getting notes to "Join the Anthropic settlement!" for the books I worked so hard on. But I started Game Programming Gems in 1999... it was a lot of work, but honestly, no one buys the books now. So I don't feel particularly aggrieved, but if you're one of the contributors, feel free to join!

Just had such an SF moment leaving the hotel from #GDC: St Patty's day parade so traffic is a mess, paramedic and fire engine at the intersection because of a pedestrian situation at 6th and Mission, a Waymo stopped and blocking half the lanes

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today. This could be you.
