The biggest thing Preller stole from 2020 onwards was the novelty of success and the promise of a future. I understand at some point you have to go all-in, but it’s a terrifying prospect in many ways to lose flexibility and I understand most fans saying “fuck it, flags fly forever”

The AI rollout is an incredible test case for the power of capital to overrule everything in its way. An overwhelmingly stupid, obscenely polluting, and wildly dangerous set of technologies are being brute-forced into every part of our lives because money says so.

I know this is not unique to anywhere with X etc, but seeing this in Northern Ireland fucking hurts. Being raised with Belfast heritage and hearing stories of imperialism and rebellion and seeing many take those lessons and apply them as stupidly and incorrectly as Americans is disheartening.
