‘ Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth.’

You know, children, there was a time, not so long ago, when serious journalists - even right wing propagandists cosplaying objectivity - would applaud an experienced, even-tempered Foreign Secretary, like Hague or Hammond, being a bit dry, rather than jumping on stuff as if they were Perez Hilton.

Deeply concerned about the incident that occurred on the Flydubai flight to Israel and very relieved that the plane landed safely thanks to the actions of those on board.
All of my thoughts are with those injured in the attack and all those...

“If the British want to come back and if their Prime Minister is moving in that direction, that is very good news both for his country and for Europeans," Macron added at a news conference in Madrid. "Come back!” he added, standing alongside Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

For all the naysayers whi insist ‘the EU would never have us back’ 😏 Sorry Le Monde offers no gift articles 😕 www.lemonde.fr/en/internati...

The rush to speculate that asylum seekers are responsible for every crime in the news is a sort of opportunistic informational terrorism. Until it’s disproved it stokes fear and hatred. When it is disproved there are no adverse consequences and they know that they only have to be lucky once.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, the entire UK benefited hugely from easy access to and membership of the EU. Then liars lied, people believed what they wanted to believe, the lies, and we left the EU leaving much wealth behind. It’s a sad story because it’s a stupid story.

Chris Byrant on Northern Ireland having the fastest growing economy in the UK, "And we're open to business like nowhere else on earth with unique dual access to enormous markets: the UK and the European Union - our potential is enormous"

Faragists rely on the narrative of "men on boats" creating a de facto Fifth Column in the UK to feed their agenda and to stir up hostility and to win votes and ultimately power. Suckers fall for it. Media boosts it. We've been here so many times before and you'd think we'd all wise up but hey ho

The Pentagon is withholding causality and hit numbers. The CDC is withholding infection rates. The FDA is withholding information about food contamination. The EPA is withholding pollution and climate data. This corrupt administration is ALL about concealing the consequences of its incompetence.

Exactly this. As for his £5mill “gift from his crypto mate, Farage would have to “work” (said wryly given his singular absence from HofC and his constituency) as an MP for nearly 55 years - long past the time he could reasonably be expected to live. So who REALLY is his master?

If someone offered you 3 times your salary to promote their product and you didn’t even need to give up your current job…..which work do you think you’d prioritise? Nigel Farage earns £93k as an MP and £270k promoting good bullion. (Oh and £18k a month from GB news vs £7.75 a month MP salary)

It is now almost 100% of the time that when I do vox pops in rural America I get asked about Britain supposedly being taken over by Muslims and crushed under the boot of Sharia law. I was just asked suspiciously if I am a Muslim myself when I pushed back
