Adobe AI promised it could take a PDF and turn it into a slide deck. That’s a use case I could embrace as I hate the task of turning a handout into slides. I gave it a one page document with headings under each of which were 4 bullets. It created a single slide with the PDF as an embedded image.
Another day, another plan originating from the UK that would involve the EU making wholesale changes to its own internal and external arrangements to suit the interests and political preferences of a neighbouring non-member state.

One interesting aspect of the recent COVID discourse is that a lot of us have forgotten that lockdown and school closures was not simply about preventing deaths, it was about keeping the *rate of infection* down to a level the NHS stood some chance of coping with.
