On Facebook, I see a lot of baseball group posts. No surprise. But the sudden flood of AI generated images on pages and groups that used to be quality is a head scratcher. I just don't get it. Doesn't it take more time an effort to generate an AI image?
I'll probably investigate, but I'd wager Sanchez owns the franchise record overall. Besides Time Keefe and Charlie Ferguson, the club didn't really have good pitchers in the 19th century.

Longest streak since 1893, when the pitcher's spot was moved. There was no mound in 1893. Thus, no mound could be moved.

Some fun news, was able to finally locate Jack Remsen, one of the more high profile missing players, who had a big league career that spanned from 1872 to 1884 and was a regular with Hartford in the inaugural season of the National League back in 1876. I'll break down how I found him in a thread.
Victory isn't always as big as base hits or catching fly balls. Victory can be an improved at-bat despite a strikeout or picking up a grounder and throwing towards first base. He won't make the majors. Hell, he doesn't even care to play. But he tries, and it makes me proud.
Have to admit, I did not think I would have this much fun writing about Brandon Marsh, but .. he is pretty fun, and surprisingly good.
