While I appreciate everyone dunking on Musks claim that he'll release an accurate (whatever that means) version of the Odyssey by pointing out all the inaccuracies in the clip aren't we a little afraid that will be used to train the AI to remove all the inaccuracies?

A great read about a topic that deserves to be analyzed with nuance, but rarely is these days - phones. I think we're kidding ourselves if we think the Haidts of the world are right that just taking the phones away will instantly solve everything - and Luther does a great job of pointing that out.

Went to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library today. And after being instructed to get my picture taken while entering my personal information (hard pass on that one guys) came across this sign. Absolutely do not freaking need this.

In this sense, I will continue to beat the drum that AI is a BIGGER problem than pieces like this acknowledge even while maintaining that the largest part of the solution lies in teaching our students (you know, the job).
