one of the best things about being a scientist is teaming up with your scientific heroes from across the globe 🌎 Judith Frydman (Stanford) & Elke Deuerling (Konstanz) 💫 the future is bright ☀️ stay tuned for some science! ✨
thanks for the shout out Dafni! i don't often tell this story in my current life as a scientist ... but this story is a big piece of who i am, and what i stand for 🤝
Some positivity. We need to hold those in political power accountable for changes that serve the majority not the few. Non negotiable. But we need to push for change together, as a community. Science and society alike. @matthewkraushar.bsky.social well done! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fz_v...

Today, it was Lisa's turn to defend her PhD thesis and she did an absolutely fantastic job 😍 Especially going into full structure of the RNA Pol2 catalytic core and explaining the mutants. It was an outstanding discussion! I am really proud of her performance today 🥹
I finally got around to reading this piece by @mariafarrell.eurosky.social and @robin.berjon.com, and it's fantastic. Drawing comparisons to ecology, it's a superb manifesto for the open web.
