i what lets me down the most is speaking of games/play outside of the ecology of experiences it is taking place in. i blame formalists (of course) but moreso industry that insists on games being a product

When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out!
