After soon 2 years living in Sweden as a Finn, two profound insights: 1. Swedes are as awkward as Finns, just better dressed 2. Both suck at smalltalk, but in Sweden being silent isn’t as socially accepted as in Finland, so Swedes sometimes pretend not to have seen you to avoid awkward smalltalk
