Excited to keep going. Issue 2.1 will be out by the end of this month. I'll finish responding to those subs in the upcoming days. Looking forward to the next batch, too! No joke--producing a literary journal alone is a lot of work! 😅

Some happy news: my poem “Anxiety is a House” has been selected as a finalist for the AR Ammons Poetry Prize! The winner will be announced March 25th (judged by Crystal Simone Smith). I’m really honored to be on this list. 🥰

I have a new poem out today in @rogueagent.bsky.social titled "Not Quite Gone." It’s an exploration of the paradox I live with: the desire for visibility versus the distress of being watched. This poem lives in that quiet, stubborn space where I figure out how to exist in the midst of existing.

I didn’t make the news meeting (except for my lil head on the flyer 😂), but I’ll be in this poetry event tomorrow evening with a bunch of Shreveport talent. Like Tee Winn says, it’s a competition, but we’re not enemies. Looking forward to vibing and hearing what everybody brings to the mic.

Currently regretting the gas station mocha I drank this morning because I felt like getting a "treat." 💩 On the bright side, Spotify Wrapped is out! Of course my top song is @alliex.music-social.com's "Is Anybody Out There." A soundtrack befitting a morning spent questioning my life decisions.
