The biggest public health problem today isn’t chemicals. It’s scientific illiteracy.
In the Late 1800s and early 1900s, pasteurization of milk saved millions of lives. It is an extremely simple process which just heats the milk enough to prevent foodborne illnesses without affecting taste. Tuberculosis, for example, was being transmitted through contaminated milk.
Every once in a while I log back into the old site and am immediately reminded why I left in the first place. Appreciate everyone here making it a healthy online environment 😊
