“Air pollution fell substantially as Paris restricted car traffic and made way for parks, people-streets and bike-lanes.” Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability and quality of life. Common sense. Such a no-brainer, it’s remarkable that more cities HAVEN’T done the same.

Warum diskutiert Deutschland das Ende der Wärmepumpensubventionen und die Möglichkeit einer neuen Gas/Energie-Krise als ob diese Themen nichts miteinander zu tun hätten? Die Energiewende & Elektrifizierung bedeutet seit spätestens 2021 vorallem Energiesicherheit und ist kein reines öko Anliegen.

Trumps Zoll-Drohungen zeigen: Die von der Leyen-Zusage für 750 Mrd. Dollar zusätzlich fossile Energie in den USA zu kaufen, war ein irrer Fehler. Eine weitere Erpressbarkeit ist entstanden. Wir müssen uns von fossilem Gas & Öl befreien. Wärmepumpe und grünen Wasserstoff verbreiten statt ausbremsen!

Die Grafik zeigt die Entwicklung der Flüssiggasimporte (LNG) aus verschiedenen Ländern in die EU. Der Anteil der USA ist von rund 25% in 2021 auf 60% in 2025 gestiegen.

new paper by Sean Westwood: With current technology, it is impossible to tell whether survey respondents are real or bots. Among other things, makes it easy for bad actors to manipulate outcomes. No good news here for the future of online-based survey research

Great initiative by Wiley! The publisher has started marking retracted papers in reference lists. When you click on the retraction notice, you can also see the date and reason for the retraction. All publishers should adopt this practice. But also screen references during submission.
