Flock’s array of license-plate cameras was built to fight crime. But at least 50 law enforcement officers were charged with or accused of misusing it and other systems.

My wife and I have 2 Toyota vehicles that we’ve driven in Eco mode for years, ever mindful of the environment and the pocketbook. Out of curiosity, I decided to give normal mode a try. >500 miles later on both, towing loads, going up hills and city/highway driving, Normal is more fuel efficient 🤷♂️
There’s a certain Fallout pre-war vibe to this that is discomfiting.
