NEW: Over the last few months, Meta has run dozens of paid ads that included AI-generated CSAM. The ads, some of which were linking out to “nudify” apps, targeted men in the US, UK, and a dozen European countries. Some were running in the last few days

The consequences were predictably disastrous for the trans community in terms of stripping us of a voice at a time when we were subject to a reality distorting foghorn of lies about us

This is what happened 5-10 years ago in the UK. Journalistic seriousness was stripped from trans journalists and columnists despite trans topics dominating headlines.
