"Uncle Mayfair, what was the London insurance market like in the Eighties?" "Hold on, I've got a photo of it somewhere..."
Having said it was okay for Bonehill-Paine to be a councillor because it was just bins, instead of dropping him, Badenoch has given him an advisory role – *after* Jewish groups refused to meet with him? Does she just never want this story to end, or....what.
A 65-year old cyclist has died after a road traffic collision on Iffley Road at 11pm yesterday. A 21-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of death causing dangerous driving. Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a grey Volkswagen Golf.
and people still say AI is incapable of producing art
Much of what is said about economics is little better than gaslighting.... I used AI tools when writing this post, including a spell checker. I also used 50 years of experience writing about these issues. The drawing was the smallest part of all that, and I had no budget to do it any other way.

This was delightful, btw. "Half the time you say 'we' and half the time you say 'you'..." (I'm sure I'm paraphrasing...)
A big ‚Thank you’ to the lovely ppl from @BBCRadio4 for inviting me to talk about my new book ‚Dear Britain’ which has become quite a bestseller in Germany. So we also talked about why the Germans do love this strange little island still so much. Including me ;). 👇 www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
This is all horrific stuff, and I invite you to go back to 2018/19 and reread her columns, newspaper interviews and podcast appearances talking about it, and then decide who it sounds like it was, that had been doing all this.
Jeyzoos. Bono looks like he'd dig in his purse for 20p for you and send you home with a Lidl choc ice.
I used to think that the German Dentists’ pension fund where the investment board consisted solely of dentists was the platonic ideal of a mark. No more. The Korean Dentist Who Loves Leveraged ETFs is the new apex. I shudder to think how much dogshit wall st trading desks can shovel into his maw
Gotta love the “or stocks” part. Like Gemini realized its first answer was nuts so it tried to wedge in a better one.
I simply don't believe these are expensive or difficult to produce. Expensive and difficult to *develop* - sure, but big metal tube with a Raspberry Pi in the nose and a load of cast propellant and explosive isn't difficult to make. Plus you can amortise development cost over larger production runs

The Trump Highway? That’s too on the nose even for the Profanisaurus!
Is it Route 666?
I missed Desmond Swayne saying we should integrate more quickly with the EU.
French forces held a fierce defensive perimeter around Dunkirk and lost 18,000 souls. 40,000 became POWs. Without their resolve we wouldn’t have our nation’s story. It’s estimated 20-60k French resistance fighters died during the war. These fuckers really are vile bastards 😡😡
Can solve open problems, can't do basic arithmetic. LLMs have finally replicated a real mathematician
Anyway... I made a model this morning and now I'm taking a break because my results are too good. Suspiciously too good, probably.
Everyone: "We find you endearing, Jonah!" Jonah Hill: "Ok, let's fix that."
