It's gotten so much easier to start learning so many more languages, you used to be limited to the 3-5 major languages that a local bookstore or educational institution had decided it was worth making available, and now you can just like, look things up in hundreds of them

Word today is they found an attorney who's working on getting dad free. I'm not using dad's name or more than a common nickname for Mom bc they deserve privacy.
Good to be aware of with a lot of midterm primaries and important amendments happening tomorrow! For MO specifically, I'll definitely be voting NO on amendment 4 and 5!

Would love to be able to get them covered for groceries for at least a couple weeks, & with 3 kids, that's easily a few hundred bucks. That's before even trying to figure out paying for legal help to get their dad released, just baseline survival.

This is highly gender-slanted. If I can do my grandfathers' jobs, I'd either be an ornithologists/professor or an airline pilot. If I had to stick to my grandmothers' jobs, I'd be a homemaker. Neither of them worked outside the home, that was for their daughters' generation.
