one final thought is that the sense for when an abstraction is called for and when it’s premature *is* in many ways something you learn in a world where writing code takes time. if you can generate the abstraction for “free” by telling claude to, you don’t end up ask yourself if it’s necessary…
fully rejecting societal “norms” like social media, tv and drinking is also not good for mental health. it’s a balance. everything in life is about balance
If a technology *can* be abused, it *will* be abused. This goes doubly for those in positions of power. Technology policy can be difficult, but we should never lose sight of this fact.
