I think a good way to think about the current moment is understanding white supremacy as a spectrum with passive acceptance as the status quo out to actively arguing for global genocide.
What a coincidence. Anything to distract from investigating her son’s murder.
Christine Wells Wonsley, the mother of Nolan Wells, has learned that the Mississippi Board of Nursing opened a professional misconduct investigation against her following an anonymous complaint, the family’s lawyer said. www.mississippifreepress.org/nolan-wells-...
Lots of us would rather focus on ANYTHING else but the brain is our strongest muscle It took years to build up the muscles of insecurity, comparison, and lack - and most often it wasn't our original thoughts that prompted the feeling, BUT it is our responsibility to find the root
My sister just posted a video of her with an ankle monitor on IG stories 😂 😂 BITCH!! How we supposed to go paddle boarding now?!? Told her I was making us matching anklets so now....
What is it you think you see when you see me, you see me? You don't know how much I pray You don't know how much I gave Don't know how much I changed 🗣 I'm just tryna explaiiiinnnnn Ooooohhoohoooo It's the God in me!

She changed her mind 😢 We have no real memories or cute pictures from this summer bc she wouldn't go anywhere. I'm devastated.
Taking the kid to the trampoline park the night after training seems like a mistake but she's coming out her room now that she leaves in 3 days 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Once you release yourself from that weird feeling you get when being identified as “wrong” … your life gets easier. Players fuck up. All you can really do is own up to it, acknowledge it and make amends (if one is required) You ain’t gotta carry that shit forever.

So they can use my answers in this thread for verification, after hacking my account?
How would y’all prove that y’all are you on a new account?
I also don't wanna have to become a contortionist to combat my child internalizing anti-blackness in ways I never thought of before, because I never had a non-black parent.
I am not interested in an interracial relationship, not because I don't find nonBlack people attractive (they are) but because I don't want to have to be subjected to (un)intentional racism, antiBlackness and microagressions in a relationship that should be my safe space.
Friendships are a commitment too. A lot of people treat friendships like void fillers and even second fiddle for romantic relationships and wonder why they’re lacking in community. You don’t wanna sacrifice for folks. you don’t wanna do anything outside of for you…how is that community minded?

To go from immense gratitude to utter despair in the matter of moments is pretty painful... bc I know its illogical, but the chemical imbalance in my brain is stronger than any logic I present
But yea, the idea of mortality has really been whooping me lately
I felt this way at 25... but knowing my family doesn't much live past 60 is scary no matter how much I try to ignore it I'm most afraid of missing my kid's life and accomplishments. And that's really been bothering me lately as I approach my 40th bday
Am I the only person who doesn’t care about my mortality? I feel like it’s the most unnecessary thing to think about. You gon die. It’s not a question 😭😭 Like it WILL happen. The same way you living right now, death WILL be part of your story. I do but also I don’t understand the fear of it all
I’m not mocking anyone experiencing Long COVID symptoms. 2020 kicked off a mass disabling event. Surviving that disease but being left with cognitive impairment and/or physical disabilities is hell. Our society has to adapt to the reality of those effects with support & compassion.
People are blaming it on her being a teenager, but nah. We were healthily inseparable before the pandemic then all hell broke loose and ruined the relationship I worked so hard to build, to make sure we were nothing like my mom and me Covid stole our closeness and it hurts so much
I used to be the driver, you could call me to drive you across the country and it would excite me I hate driving now bc ppl are so careless and the risks they be taking just don't make sense
I feel like large parts of my memory have been wiped completely
I feel this. I’ve only had COVID-19 *once*, and my ability to do mental math has been partially compromised since, so I can imagine the effects that MULTIPLE infections would have on my mind
VERY. Plagues stoke fears that are easily exploited by oppressive religions & con artists. The fact that COVID-19 damages the frontal lobe means ppl who survived multiple infections are quite literally unable to think clearly, which makes them easier to manipulate by bad-faith actors.
