Yes. UK Westminster Govt legislation for Smart Meters is a complete failure. Policy =install SM not that they function accurately. Result= Scotland, and lots of other areas have no functioning SM = PAY premium for electricity and no access to EV or solar tarriffs UK fail again. Independence.
Totally agree, although in our case the symptoms of the SM not communicating with the LRRN turned out to be an incomplete database update by one of the many private suppliers in this second rate UK infrastructure solution. Took mths of effort to sort. In the meantime we couldn't access an EV tariff.
