Matt Darling@besttrousers.bsky.social · 3h agoBasically, recessions are caused by "everyone trying to save money at the same time". This is a problem because at an aggregate level, everyone's income is the same as everyone's spending.
My 11-year-old just had the idea of a hotel on the Minnesota State Fair grounds and I think she's on to something.
By the way, speaking as someone who serves encampments- We never forget the ones we don’t see again after an eviction. Never.

I came across an arrangement of words describing a movie as “The Purge but as a romcom” and made the mistake of googling the movie in question. One night a year people are allowed to have premarital sex???? Straight people are never beating the allegations. ANY of the allegations.
this is both infuriating and sad to watch having him on at this point is really just taking advantage of a man who can't string together a single coherent thought

You name it. & actively being criminalized for it.

One of the hardest things to teach people is that white supremacy doesn't require racial hatred to keep itself going, and this thread kind of does a good job at pointing out how and why that happens.
