it is not an appropriate use of alt text to credit the origin of the image (like the artist, etc) and do nothing else. alt text is not just a second text box for extra information that can be shoved out of the way. for some people it is more important than the image itself. treat it with respect

I see people saying “I would use alt text but I keep forgetting!” Thankfully, @bsky.app has a setting for that. - Go to Settings - Then Accessibility - Toggle “Require alt text before posting” to the active setting. Now Bluesky will remind you to add alt text to all of your posts.

A fun thought I've decided to share with y'all--the intuition for Warden of the Seven Hues can be built so many different ways and if one piece fails, I shift my current focus to an alternate goal. I realized this is the same sort of thing I do when the yaku I was pursuing in Mahjong falls apart.
