this is extremely false! they are road legal in the united states, europe, and elsewhere. in fact in many districts cyclists are forbidden from riding on the sidewalk because that is unsafe for cyclists and pedestrians. the greatest nuisance to driving is traffic, which more people biking reduces :)

The loss of search structure is devastating for knowledge retrieval. I teach basic lit searching and it's always felt like a really core transferable skill for students to know boolean operators and "exact phrase searching" and now google, microsoft etc have just killed it to force us to use slopAI.

Getting away with it once, just makes it easier to repeat. DHS is fomenting hate against citizens, which is nothing new — people of color have been warning the nation for years. This current escalation is dangerous; hopefully enough to show a wider audience that abolishment of ICE is needed

Both are considered “highly trained.” The problem isn’t "training." DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity. We must MELT ICE and dismantle DHS.
they're executing moms and nurses in the street. they're using preschoolers as bait. they're stealing people's dads and grandmas and children. they're tear gassing babies. they're staking out schools. there is no remedy but abolition. any proposal that doesn't start there is an act of violence.
These are concentration camps. And these are the numbers they're comfortable sharing.
