I have seen the trailers for the new Fire Emblem and once again I am torn between “Nice looking characters and scenery, plot looks promising” and “I will need a spreadsheet open to keep track of all the ways to level up my characters AND their equipment!”

He animated the sequence by himself for more than four months -- without computers or even an easy way to check his work. Well, actually, kinda, yeah, close to what happened. It's not for nothing that Jack Dorsey, who started the place and was on its board, basically ran away when the trans folks and furries scared off all the crypto bros he assumed would be the natural demographic here (they went to Nostr instead).

I am so fed up and tired by all the fakery online. I am fighting to not go “everything is fake therefore I will stop liking anything” but it is very difficult. What I should do is not respond to anything in the news until at least a day has passed. That may help.
