Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large; 413 error.)

Also the Electoral College must be abolished. We can do it without a constitutional amendment -- enough states need to pass the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and it's essentially dead. Call your state representatives.

We no longer have TV EVENTS that result in a WATERCOOLER MOMENT. This is not because of changing delivery tech or our monocultureless era. It's because ever since the dawning of the Water Wars, it would be extremely dumb to leave a whole jug of potable sitting around a workplace with no armed guard

"Debates over World War II became popular at Heritage, with a lot of “rehashing and going through who was the bad guy and who were the good guys,”" Also, sounds like a lot of anti-Semitism at the Heritage Foundation. Maybe Trump's task force on anti-Semitism could look into this!

Hale told me that he was willing to debate policy; what he wasn’t willing to do was “sit here and discuss whether the Holocaust happened or not.” Discussions among new hires frequently echoed arguments promoted by Fuentes, Carlson and the podcaster Candace Owens that shed doubt on the historical consensus around the Holocaust or the origin of the state of Israel. Hale described a conversation with one new hire who claimed that the publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell — the father of Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime partner and enabler, and a Czechoslovakian Jew by birth — had paid for the rights to all the history textbooks used in public schools in the United States, and that everything in them about the Holocaust was a lie.

The new Heritage sounds pretty sexist! "a promising intern in the legal department...was told that she should consider skipping law school, getting married quickly and having children....everyone at Heritage was required to be against I.V.F. as well as birth control, including for married couples"

"MAGA Republicans are *not* more willing than anyone else to personally commit violence. They don’t want to throw the brick. They want someone else to throw the brick for them." Excellent essay on the tipping point into a low-trust society and how to walk back from the brink

Has America Crossed the Asshole Threshold?

Civilizations can carry a surprising number of parasites and live. But there’s a line — Rome crossed it, the Gilded Age toed it, and for the first time in history, we can measure it.

I will reiterate: Christians in the West evangelize in public for the same reason men catcall. Neither is trying to persuade you; both are reminding you that the public sphere belongs to them and you exist in it at their sufferance.

"...are fortunately killed off by a rainstorm, which doesn't entirely track since water is plentiful in the ground." Said "spaceship mockup" became the crashed vessel that brought astronaut Colonel Adam Cook to a strange planet in Twilight Zone season five's "Probe 7, Over and Out."

How The Twilight Zone Borrowed a Spaceship From Rival Series The Outer Limits

By the early 1960s, CBS, NBC and ABC were fiercely competing for television viewers, making collaboration between rival networks almost unheard of.

"The downed spaceship prop was originally built for The Outer Limits episode entitled, "Specimen: Unknown" (February 24, 1964), in which a lethal alien plant is accidentally brought down to Earth by the members of an orbiting space station. The deadly flowers take root in our native soil, but..."🔽

Google maps is saying it happened on Lennéstraße which is near the Marriott by Tiergarten. There aren't bollards there so someone could have driven right into the park. Bild is saying someone is dead and 15 injured. Hoping to hell everyone pulls through. This is exactly what xitter was for, shit.
