No need for anyone to agree with me - but some of the responses to this on here reminds me just how stifling and absolutist a period in our national discourse Covid was.

I've heard so many conspiracy theorists complain that Covid restrictions were about telling everyone that only some of us were essential, and the rest of us were expendable. But if you have any memory whatsoever, you know that "essential" in Covid terms *meant* "expendable".

I was working "Essential" Retail(Walmart) at the start of covid, and I feel like most people don't truly understand the degree to which we felt like we were sent to the wolves. Everyone else got sent home to stay safe, while we were meat for the meat grinder. Made the machinery of it all real clear.

There is only one worthwhile reason to relitigate Covid restrictions, and that is to figure out how to have a more effective containment plan for the next pandemic. This rotten-brained charlatan refuses to think about that issue. So where does that leave us?

I was checking in on a Spokane news broadcast about the fires up there, and the channel's chat is entirely cranks ranting about "the jab", asking if the fire was started by 5G towers, and debating what will happen to Israel during the Rapture. Oh, and now they're blaming HAARP.

When you slow down and think about it you realize it's ten times worse than it seems. Sure it's farcical, but it's also a brutal legal attack on a man they knew to be innocent, done to distract from their own thievery and incompetence and as a flex to terrify anyone who might make them look bad.
