Your opponent may choose endorsement and may choose to encourage support but ultimately it is your responsibility to convince the voters who were skeptical of you to now support you.
Other than the resolution of Keeley and Roy's relationship, the S3 finale tied up everything in a neat bow. S4 for me is a "maybe watch sometime down the line" at best.
