Robson Fletcher@robsonfletcher.com · 10mo agoPolice in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away. They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social · 10mo agoI just got back from a week in El Salvador, mostly in San Salvador and Morazon (look it up). The idea that the US politics is driven by widespread poverty, or any kind of material privation, is surreal and absurd. Go somewhere else, see what real poverty is.
The more I learn the more I believe we need a mass movement of Black therapists, psychologists, and sociologists to help the diaspora heal from what has happened to us over the last 500 years. Unfortunately capitalism stays on our collective head so we can’t get a window to do this.
