I received my first dose of the covid vaccine (Pfizer) on christmas eve. I’d picked up the overnight shift, so I clocked in, got vaccinated, and cried from relief. They were rationing them by age, comorbidity, and proximity to patient care. I was hassling the charge nurses every day for my shot.

Rfk jr is an evil liar. We were converting in patient units into makeshift icus so that we had space for surge capacity. I will hate this man into my next seven lifetimes.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

I hate seeing pictures of the people whose podcasts I listen to. No I just want to enjoy your voices as if this is 1939 and I am listening to the radio.

At the Ghost in the Shell panel. Not even the screenwriter and producer have seen Shirow in the flesh. Shirow communicates only by photographing hand written notes and sending jpegs to his editor, who relays info to the staff.
