When no driver is coming to a full stop and instead are treating every 4 way as games of chicken, cyclists have to be extremely aggressive just to get across. The dogmatic insistence that we follow a rule designed for cars, that car drivers themselves aren't following just puts us in danger.
Idothethinking@idothethinking.bsky.social · 2w agoI dont like the idea that bicyclists should do full stops at every stop sign. It obviously takes more effort to fully stop and partially dismount and then start peddling again. Most of the time drivers in perpendicular positions get annoyed at the time it takes for a cyclist to restart their travel.
It also seems kind of bad that the Justices's book deals are interfering with their ability to hear cases. This isn't just one Justice being recused out; this is the entire Court lacking the quorum to hear the case at all.
I mean if he wants every American to have stake in SpaceX I guess we better go ahead and nationalize it.
