People complain about their Discover feeds being full of all kinds of awful things. When I check mine it's just a long feed of oil paintings. Sometimes cliche ones, sometimes mid ones, but generally pretty all right, nothing to complain about. I feel like I'm missing out

One of my favorite things is walking around the office and seeing someone with their head in their hands, they've hit their limit, it's all too much, they can no longer cope. And you go over to see what's wrong and they're just saying "oh my God this is so cool" Every now and then it just hits you

Esoteric Collector@vcreedsabretooth.bsky.social · 2w agoPlatonic Solids, five polyhedra with equally shaped faces meeting at all sides and points, have been known since ancient times. The cube (d6) and the icosahedron (d20) have been used in games of chance since at least Roman times. All cultures used dice. In modern wargaming primarily the d6 was used.
Visiting the Danish fjords, setting our stuff on the beach and walking away, because we've entered the stage of life where if it gets stolen it's not "oh no someone stole our stuff" it's "thank goodness now we have less stuff"

"Preserving ambiguity" is an inside joke. Why a chi orb? Why lions? Because Schrödinger requires a decaying particle, and dead and alive versions of the same cat interfering. Their shared world only lasts as long as that superposition remains unresolved. How's that for obscure Chima lore

Just like I tried to do with Ninjago, I've avoided finding out how much influence I had on Chima, if any. I've always thought it was funnier to preserve the ambiguity.

We are in complete agreement. Watching 'progressive' voices say we have to let trans people suffer to get votes is the shittiest of shitty shit.
