Oh good, profiting off of the genuine work of an entire community without bothering to contact any of its writers or its licensing team regarding Creative Commons. Oh, and it's being funded by a literal slave state. I hope the filmmakers get sued into oblivion.

Secure. Contain. Protect. The V/H/S franchise is tackling the SCP Foundation with upcoming installment V/H/S: SCP. The anthology film will be framed as “recovered field documentation,' or video evidence gathered, redacted, and archived by the secretive organization."

If anyone reading this gives a shit about SCP, do not do ANYTHING that would financially support the people making this. Not only is there a blatant disregard for the actual source material and the community around it, but it's also being made with Emirati blood money. Fuck this.

And nobody who actually writes for the SCP Foundation was notified. Including the licensing team whose job it is to maintain the Creative Commons that allows the work to exist as an open collaborative project! Yayyyyyyy
