Liked the look of the “Verity” movie trailer. Fancied the book. Went to get it on Kindle. Said I already purchased it in 2023. Found it and opened it up on Kindle. It was at the last page. I’ve already read it 🤷🏽♀️.
Really sad that the local sports and social club is being sold off, meaning c10 cricket teams and several other sports teams have no place to continue.

Are you in LEEDS for the TEST? Looking for a CAFE? A few years ago we had a nice lunch at the Kirkstall Abbey cafe but their card machine was down and I had no cash to pay. They said to drop it off the next day but I wasn’t able to so I posted it - and they posted back my change.
For the record, the proportion of professors at Cambridge who are Black is 0.4%. The number of Black people in the UK population is 4%. So the number of Black professors at Cambridge is ONE TENTH of what you would expect in a meritocracy.

The government and Home Office again placing the right to protest and 'legitimate concerns' front and centre in their response to the attempted murder of people based on the colour of their skin.
