Remember, atrocious as the over-reach by this administration may be, that *most* courts are upholding the law. Building 'a more perfect union' requires not abandoning centuries of hard fought progress and successes, even as the originalists activist supremes attempt to revive Dred Scott.

🚨BREAKING: Federal Court REJECTS Department of Justice lawsuit to force Virginia to provide the DOJ with access to its complete statewide voter registration database. Another victory for Elias Law Group and its clients. DOJ is now 0-14 in these cases. www.democracydocket.com/cases/virgin...

Here’s the strategic core: cheating operations work on the margins. They flip close races. They exploit recounts, certification fights, faithless officials, and friendly courts. What they cannot do, what no operation in American history has ever managed to do, is steal a landslide.

On Thursday, the Trump regime forced out the three remaining members of the Election Assistance Commission — effectively ending it. You need to see this as part of Trump’s overall strategy to take over the midterm elections some 90 days from now. Here's what we can do about it.

It’s pretty wild that he has decided to compare himself to Teddy Roosevelt, a man who certainly would have despised him. Teddy was anti-corruption, anti-monopoly, and came from old money. A crass self-enriching grifter like Trump would have been shown the door at the Roosevelts. Roosevelt:

There can be no crime more serious than bribery. Other offenses violate one law while corruption strikes at the foundation of all law. Under our form of Government all authority is vested in the people and by them delegated to those who represent them in official capacity. There can be no offense heavier than that of him in whom such a sacred trust has been reposed, who sells it for his own gain and enrichment; and no less heavy is the offense of the bribe giver. He is worse than the thief, for the thief robs the individual, while the corrupt official plunders an entire city or State. He is as wicked as the murderer, for the murderer may only take one life against the law, while the corrupt official and the man who corrupts the official alike aim at the assassination of the commonwealth itself. Government of the people, by the people, for the people will perish from the face of the earth if bribery is tolerated. The givers and takers of bribes stand on an evil pre-eminence of infamy. The exposure and punishment of public corruption is an honor to a nation, not a disgrace.
The shame lies in toleration, not in correction.... If we fail to do all that in us lies to stamp out corruption we can not escape our share of responsibility for the guilt. The first requisite of successful self-government is unflinching enforcement of the law and the cutting out of corruption.

I've been learning my family's tribal language, Ojibwemowin. It's an Algonquin language. In Ojibwemowin, Strawberry Moon is called Ode'imini-giizis. Ode' is heart & min is berry--it describes the shape of the berry. Giizis is moon. Miigwech (thank you)! Mino Ode'imini-giizis (Good Strawberry Moon).

I agree with you & thank you for your vote. My problem is that this seems illegal on multiple levels. When this happens, that member of Congress should be prosecuted and should no longer be a member of Congress. We have a saying in my field--if it appears unethical, it is unethical. This isn't hard.

KARL: Rs are gonna make you the poster child for the D Party MAMDANI: Let them. We don't have to ask ourselves what life looks like if a socialist wins. I won last year & over the course of the last 6 months what we've delivered for working people are the very things we were told were impossible.

I hope Washington state and others without work requirements get together & take legal action against this. Young people with mental health problems already have trouble finding work, and now they’re supposed to go without healthcare? Like, going off their meds is gonna help them land jobs? 😠

Adults on Medicaid will be required to work 80 hours per month. The Trump administration says people who are sick will have to prove they are too sick to work to be exempt from the new work rules. n.pr/3RK4U7X
