I like the "Tales of" games and D&D Curse of Strahd comic: https://symphonyofthedamned.the-comic.org

Oh boy. Okay. I am going to respond earnestly and genuinely, because I totally understand why this would seem like a contrary concept! Many librarians, educators, and guardians want to encourage their kids to read more, but don't see how graphic novels might help. Let's talk about it!

"We want to increasing reading by introducing more books with pictures." Go ahead and tell me how I've got it all wrong.

By the way you can read this webcomic based on our Curse of Strahd campaign here: symphonyofthedamned.the-comic.org Both me and @theguineapig3.bsky.social have had some setbacks as of late due to life events but we're eager to post the next update relatively soon~!

Feels blessed that I get to draw my friends' OCs as they get put through the Torment Nexus. @mochitanukivt.bsky.social made such a funny little guy to put through the Horrors and I can't get enough of him tbqh😹

The first of four rough drawings of Dorian, an attractive young man dressed in fancy bard clothing with bright curly short hair and a fake mole drawn on his cheek. In this drawing he is running away from something in the direction the viewer with an exaggerated and frightened expression.

As I slowly inch towards 40 it pains me to see artists show off their older OCs like "here's my grandma OC she's 43" and she looks like she's in her 60s or 70s. And then get praised for drawing age accurately 🥲
