TTRPG Illustrator + Cartoonist, 32, She/It, Fil-Am, Seattle-based Illustrator, Punk HRT 10/12/25 The art I post will have violence, language and the odd pinup. If you're under 18, please leave. AI is blocked on sight. Also comment. I love yapping.

HB's only been around for a lil under two years but they've gone from an experiment with trying to make a fun design outside of my wheelhouse to completely changing how I draw characters. That and she's gone from me trying to emulate an anime aesthetic to something completely her own.

Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.

i don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in 2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

"Nerds may have gotten weird or douchey about anime" who else do you think was going to have opinions about anime back in the 90s, exactly? Do you think Lowtax named the Something Awful anime subforum Anime Death Tentacle Rape Whorehouse by throwing darts at a board or what?

The U.S. didn't "hate" anime in the 90s. People these days tend to conflate (or confuse) "broad teasing of foreign cultures and nerd hobbies" for "hatred." As for the nerds and bullies that may have gotten weird or douchey about it...I mean, what do you expect? That's what nerds and bullies do.

the whole "women's sports exist to protect women from men" framing is hilarious, given that a lot of these divisions were initially formed because men were deeply embarrassed any time a woman beat them at a sport olympic shooting was mixed gender right up until a woman won the gold

It's my birthday, and boy am I starting to feel it these days. This year's been kinda slow on the art side of things but I'm truly grateful if you continue to enjoy my work. I'm going to keep doing this as long as you'll allow me.
