Thank fucking God, because it was essentially KOSA on steroids.

Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.
Sadly, KOSA DID pass committee, but we can, and hopefully WILL stop it.
In his notes for the Orb of Destruction, Olimar says that he stayed up all night counting the stitches to confirm that there were exactly 108. No one asked him to do that.
KOSA surveils all adults on a ruse of protecting kids. Don't fall for it. Call against it instead.

There's also two versions of KOSA, one from the House and from the Senate, and both chambers are adamant that only their version pass and refuse to consider the other.
KOSA still passed but this is good news. it's died before and we can kill it again. Keep it up everyone.

It doesn't seem to get as much coverage as the U.S bills, I am not sure if/when it is getting voted on, when it is going to the house or parliament. But it is urgent that we nip these things in the bud. Any country you are from, look to see if your suits are trying to push similar laws, and call.
I know it's exhausting, I know it's stressful and scary, calling and emailing public officials, but it is so important, to protect everyone's safety and privacy. Outside of the U.S as well, these bills are being proposed everywhere. Canada C-34 floating around. Call your MP and demand they vote no.
