The response is an action that reveals beliefs his statements alone do not. His revealed belief is clearly that his reputation and comfort are both more important than taking material action supporting his stated stance on trans people, to the point he will harm one of us to protect them.

Ngl, between the Elves in The Hobbit being mainly Simic 🤢 & MB having none, I'm feeling a little bummed. I'm expecting 1-2 Reality Fracture cards of interest at most & then it'll depend on the UB sets whether or not next year is a total skip too

Anyone who thinks an Amy Acton victory won’t convince Democrats to adopt anti-trans stances should read any related thread on /r/Ohio. The number of liberals and Democrats that have now fully adopted trans sports bans being good in Ohio is unreal.

1. In the aftermath of forcing the Ohio Progressive Caucus to delete criticism of Amy Acton for calling trans girls "boys," progressives were promised a meeting with Acton. Now, we have learned she didn't show up, and kicked trans people out of the meeting. Subscribe to support our journalism.

i was a trans athlete it was never a problem i wanted to do an extended "because" but there's no need to do a because because what the fuck are we doing here besides capitulating to fascists who found an easy target i'm a man in a dress to them. and like dawg who cares let men wear dresses

Y'all, if you have ever wondered what it would like like for the federal government to tell you what you are/not allowed to read and thought "screw that," now is the time to say so. Sign this letter. Send a postcard. Call your senators. This is a nightmare scenario. Don't let it pass.

NEW: A federal book banning bill has been introduced in the Senate. It's time to make our voices heard. Tell your Senators to REJECT pro-censorship legislation like S. 4925 that would limit the freedom to read! We need every advocate to speak out against censorship: action.ala.org/campaign/S4925

Show up for our libraries. ALA 150, American Library Association.

For no real reason I'd like to remind you of this fun book I wrote about a professor, some grad students, and their (maybe) guide who fall into a mysterious land of dinosaurs, Neanderthals, and so much more. There's a gorgeous hardcover, a paperback out this fall, or Ray Porter could read it to you.

The cover for GOD'S JUNK DRAWER by Peter Clines, showing a dinosaur skeleton in a black void, along with a space suit helmet, a human skull, a bionic arm, and a stone-tipped spear.
