Recently started a new Starfinder 2e campaign with my usual group of PnP friends, and in tonight's session, our group got high together and one of our number developed a crush on an NPC, so I this campaign officially has the juice

I wonder, if you pay to get yourself a cameo in a kickstarted game, and that game takes off, and there's a portion of the fan base who's like, "Damn, I wish we could romance that character," are you like "Fuck yeah, everyone in this video game desire me carnally" or are you like "I MADE A MISTAKE"

Seen someone like "lol now tech workers know what layoffs are like cuz of AI," and idk, I get it, but my dad was laid off from his software engineering consultant job 20 years ago and pivoted to becoming a Priest, so, you know, it's not THAT new. Workers rarely have a solid footing in Capitalism.

Listen, I gotta believe in redemption and rehabilitation or what's the point, but I'm not sure that someone who's done certain things should be an influencer or progressive figurehead. You kinda lost your chance at that. Maybe if your main and sole message is "Don't do what I did, fellas." MAYBE.

Replaying Coral Island for the first time since Hangouts went in and they're... kinda great? The after-hangout convos are really expanding the story and making me like singles I barely glanced at back on my previous playthroughs.
