Little girl on the train: Uncle Mallory died. Her mum: Yes. Little girl: So he won't feel anything now. Her mum: No. Little girl: Which is good because the insects will be eating his eyes.

Woman on a bus (reading from an article): Have you ever discussed your fantasies with your partner? Her friend: Like the one where I’m in a cottage by the sea completely on my own with a book and a cup of tea?

Remarkably large mammal-like tracks from the Botucatu Formation (Lower Cretaceous), Paraná Basin, Brazil: implications for the evolution of large size in Mammaliaformes www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Bambiraptor feinbergi. Possibly a valid genus… possibly a juvenile Saurornitholestes. Possibly none of the above. I spent far too long on this one. I hope it was worth it 🫠 If the scientists could avoid reclassifying Bambi before people have seen this, I’d appreciate it. 😉 #SciArt

ICE agents violently attacked Dr. Norma Bowe in front of Delaney Hall. She was there to run a mobile health clinic. ICE's cruelty knows no bounds — in or out of detention centers. @aclu-nj.org joined dozens of ACLU affiliates to represent people who were harmed by federal immigration agents.

This nurse brings healthcare to people outside a detention center. She says ICE agents assaulted her.

This week, the ACLU announced it has filed 54 claims on behalf of Norma Bowe and others who allege violence and additional harms from federal immigration officials.

This research wouldn't have been possible without NASA Exobiology, which funded us to study the role ferns played in the recovery of life after Earth's most recent mass extinction. Under OMB's proposed rules, we wouldn't have been able to use grant funds to publish this paper (which is open access).
