The trend this is referencing is just a bunch of artists proving they are no better than companies who say whatever whenever they think it will gain them favor - and now they are broadcasting their fake allyship. Trans rights are human rights. Black lives matter. We aren't free until we all are.

I don’t want everything tailored to my interests I want stuff made by perverts and sickos that makes me think about stuff differently
Gen AI has given us many things such as: - vibe coded trash uploaded daily - inflated billionaire egos - copycat slop of popular indie games - huge increase in scam techniques - absurd price spikes across hardware - mass scale theft of creative works - increase to cost of living - mass job losses
- increased pollution/water usage - health issues for those near data centres - decline in problem solving skills - unhealthy social dependence on chatbots - paranoia as we scrutinise everything we see for it - billions of dollars spent making life worse for everyone but those on top
- usage as a propaganda tool - an unprofitable industry except for those selling the parts powering it - inaccurate search results ruining search engines - unwelcome insertion of the tech in areas that really don't need it to appease shareholders obsessed with new shiny thing - & more!
Its hard to give up control, to let go how people think about you. Especially in these spaces.
