I went to a BBQ yesterday with a ton of Chicago organizers. From family & childcare rights to criminal justice reform. And this memorial moved me. On the walls were makeshift coffins of all victims of torture from Chicago PD. And an altar to those who cant fit on the wall. May they rest in peace.

If you live near an opera company, find out when they do their costume sales. Do it for me. That’s some of the best clothing you’ve ever seen. Beautifully made stuff worth every penny. Every company cleans out their stock from time to time

Yesterday I went to a costume sale, and while I now have a gigantic pile of clothing I need to clean, im so hype. I got like 5 excellent gowns, a petticoat, panniers, a wool cloak, some cute body suits and slips, two pairs of pants, a leather jacket, armor and various accessories for like $150
They could always sign up to give comment at a public meeting.
