1st panel: In a counting house, the clerk Bob Cratchit, seated on a tall stool at his desk, reaches for a lump of coal to feed to the small fire to his right. Behind him, his boss Scrooge sits at another desk with a stack of coins on it. S: “Set one finger on that coal, Cratchit—“

cleans- HW goes into a whole crazy set of action.
