I don't personally take it as an accusation of being derivative, but as a favourable indicator that I've made them think and feel to the extent that they're putting my work in a cultural context alongside other respected creatives

my pet belief is that encouraging children to create pseudonymous avatars for themselves should be part of "how to be healthy online" early education. be a sparkledog until you're old enough to decide otherwise. but introduced via play so it feels like personal choice to the kids?

If you can prompt AI, you can prompt the artist. The latter can also figure out what you mean.

regularly googling my name bc im checking if the changes i make to my website get indexed. anyway: i switched from "web" to "all" tab and for the first time ever read an ai summary of myself. apparently i am famous in the paleoart community for my heavily researched dinosaur illustrations
I resent the notion that people who use hyphens where en or em dashes would be more appropriate deserve a greater assumption of authenticity than those of us who know how and when to use them, and how to insert special characters. I do not blame AI tools for stealing because they lack moral agency.
